Mintra AS is a central collaboration partner, when it comes to ensuring high quality and developing relevant competence through modern learning systems.  Mintra AS is responsible for Trainingportal.

User-Friendly Access to All Training Initiatives
On Trainingportal, course users can easily log in with their own username and password, and receive access to both classroom courses and e-learning courses.

As courses are completed, they are logged in the system; for e-learning courses, it happens automatically.  Course users can print out certificates of completion and maintain an overview of their courses.

Effectively Administrate Courses and Competence
Trainingportal enables your organisation to associate competence requirements with different roles and positions, ensuring good competence management across the organisation.

A Trainingportal administrator can, at any time, from anywhere, access status reports for both company and temporary personnel:

  • Who has started the course?
  • Who has completed the course?
  • How long did they use on the course?
  • Which department or sub-contractor has the best completion rate?
  • Who has special competence?
  • What is the status of a particular user’s mandatory competence?  Does he have everything he needs?
  • Who has completed and who is lacking a set of competencies?
  • Who has outdated competence?
  • Who needs to participate in refresher training next month? 
  • Etc.

These status reports apply to both classroom and e-learning courses.


Effectively Verify and Document Competence
Trainingportal enables your organisation to create simple e-learning courses and verification tests.  These e-learning courses can be distributed to individuals or larger groups via Trainingportal.

Access to a Vast Array of Relevant Courses
Trainingportal is a marketplace where course providers can offer their courses.  Working Together for Safety (SfS), industry organisations like the Norwegian Oil Industry Association (OLF) and the Federation of Norwegian Industries, as well as a large number of 3rd party course providers offer courses through Trainingportal.  This allows your organisation to choose among relevant course offerings at reduced rates.

Single Sign-On and Integration between Trainingportal and HR Systems
Trainingportal has functionality for Single Sign-On, allowing course users that are logged on to their office PC’s to be automatically logged into Trainingportal.

Trainingportal has an interface that enables integration with 3rd party HR systems.  This means that relevant data about course enrolments in the HR system is automatically transferred to Trainingportal, and relevant data about completed courses on Trainingportal is automatically returned to the HR system.  Mintra has solid experience integrating the following HR systems:  SAP, Dossier, KOS, StepStone and Onix.  Automatic exchange of information between your HR system and Trainingportal will help you effectively administrate courses and competence.

SCORM and AICC
Trainingportal follows the recognised e-learning standards SCORM and AICC.

Free End User Support
Course users on Trainingportal have free access to e-mail support as well as telephone support, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (GMT+1), from Monday to Friday.
