Mintra has developed an e-learning programme that addresses Documentum Management, Hydro’s document handling system. The e-learning programme is offered to all 3-4000 employees in Oil & Energy.

When developing this e-learning module, our basis was the following learning goals:

“The learning programme shall help all potential users of Documentum, at all levels, and in all departments at Hydro Oil & Energy, quickly and easily acquire necessary competence and basic knowledge of the application, which should be experienced as a useful tool in simplifying their workday.”

Some of the challenge was in creating an e-learning programme that motivates employees to use Documentum in a practical way.  The course simulates work tasks, and uses “Show me”, “Test me” and “Guide me” functionality.  The programme is available both as a stand-alone course and as a reference work.

The course is offered both in Norwegian and English and has been adapted for Hydro’s Learning Management System.
