The Zero Philosophy maintains that accidents don’t happen – they’re caused. In other words, all accidents can be prevented, making our goal zero harm and zero accidents. To achieve this goal, people must be made responsible and take responsibility at every level, with continuous focus on risk control, accident prevention, and learning.

“The object of the Trainingportal HSE Award is to encourage and motivate efforts to achieve zero harm to people, the environment, and material assets,” tells Mintra’s Ketil Natvig. “The Trainingportal HSE Award will be bestowed on a person or organisation that has made a special contribution to this work.”
