Mintra signs agreement for HSE in Posten Norge Print E-mail

Background
Posten Norge (the Norwegian postal service) has HSE as an important area of commitment and has worked determinedly to achieve significant improvements across the entire Group. Sick leave has traditionally been at a higher level than the national average, but systematic HSE initiatives have brought Posten’s sick leave numbers down below the national average.

Posten’s HSE focus is based on the company’s core values: integrity, respect, innovation and collaboration. Good HSE is good for employees but also helps the company achieve its main societal and commercial goals.

Posten also considers HSE a competitive advantage – which generates good revenues, good customer satisfaction, proud and satisfied employees and a good reputation among the general public.

Framework Agreement for HSE
The competence house, Mintra, has landed a framework agreement for HSE in Posten. The agreement is for two years, with an optional one year extension.

The primary aspects of the agreement are:

  • Assistance examining the facts of workplace conflicts
  • Consulting for alcohol and drug prevention and follow-up programmes
  • Consulting and initiatives for dietary and health plans that increase employee satisfaction, health and productivity
  • Various HSE courses

Strategy for Achieving HSE Results
For Posten, increasing competence and consciousness are important strategies for achieving HSE results. That means there is always a need for both managers and employees to take courses on various aspects of HSE.

Mintra’s Collaboration Partners
Through Trainingportal.no, Mintra provides access to more than 200 different course offerings for practical training, classroom courses and e-learning courses.

For this framework agreement, Mintra will be collaborating with Hjelp24 and Red Cross First Aid to provide a comprehensive solution that meets all of Posten’s needs.
