Mintra Launches the Next Generation of Trainingportal at ONS – Oil Conference in Stavanger Print E-mail

Mintra will be launching the next generation of Trainingportal at the ONS 2010 oil conference in Stavanger. The portal now has a completely new, user-friendly interface for ordering more than 200 different offerings for practical training, classroom courses and e-learning courses from 3rd party course providers – and a the number of course offerings is increasing every week!

“More than 300 companies already use Trainingportal to order courses,” tells Chul Christian Aamodt, Director of Marketing and Sales at Mintra AS. “In 2009, more than 130 000 course enrolments were registered on Trainingportal, and that volume provides us with a great opportunity to further develop our array of services. I have been working at Mintra for almost 10 years now and this launch is the biggest thing I have been involved with in my entire time with the company.”
New Course Providers on Trainingportal Every Week!

Mintra has entered agreements with a large number of course providers who will be offering practical training, classroom training and e-learning through Trainingportal. Some courses also give college credits.

“New course providers contact us every week, looking to profile their courses on Trainingportal,” tells Chul Christian Aamodt. “We determine whether the courses are relevant for our customers and enter partnership agreements.”

A Common Interface for Ordering Courses
The more than 300 companies that currently use Trainingportal for course enrolments will be able to reduce their administration costs significantly in relation to coursing and competence. Now, Mintra’s customers will have a single interface to relate to for ordering courses – regardless of the course provider.

Automatic Transfer of Course History to HR Systems
Course history for practical training, classroom courses and e-learning will be archived on Trainingportal. Course providers, course participants and the course participants’ employers will have access to relevant reports – anywhere, anytime.
“Course history will automatically be transferred to the employer’s HR system, if it has been integrated with Trainingportal,” tells Chul Christian Aamodt, “enabling employers to automatically update their employees’ CV’s – directly in the company’s HR system.”

Simpler Invoicing
Mintra will also be assuming responsibility for invoicing enrolments to 3rd party course offerings on Trainingportal.
“Those of our customers who are looking for simpler invoicing routines can choose to receive one invoice from Mintra, with a comprehensive overview of employee course activity linked to course providers and course offers,” tells Chul Christian Aamodt. “This will both reduce administration and improve cost control for our customers.”

The Road Ahead
Mintra will be launching this brand new portal at ONS. During September 2010, Mintra will arrange information meetings, where Mintra and our collaboration partners will present offerings for practical training, classroom courses and e-learning. See www.mintra.no for more information about dates and times.
