This course reviews important aspects of the fire hazards associated with hot work, provides up-to-date information on laws and regulations, as well as practical tips on how to prevent fires from hot work.

After completing this course, you will receive a hot work certificate from the Norwegian Fire Prevention Association. The certificate is valid for 5 more years before your next recertification.

The target group for this course is for all people who need to renew their hot work certificate. According to the Norwegian Fire Prevention Association approximately 50 000 certificate holders will require recertification in 2011. In 2012, around 30 000 will require recertification.

The course has a duration of about 3 hours and costs 750 NOK.
