Mintra have produced an e-learning course for the National Guard; Introduction to leadership. The course was developed in collaboration with the ADL-office/Defence college, the Norwegian Defence Logistics organisation and the Home Guard School and centre for competence.

Introduction to leadership is one of the first courses students encounter when they take command-education at the National Guard. The course consists of two parts, Part I, which is an E-learning module and Part II, which is practical implementation. Together, this will in the future constitute the new foundation leadership. The main focus of the course is leadership, pedagogy and instructional learning. The course gives the Guard an opportunity to use a unified portal for learning about leadership and learning instructions for new squad leaders.
Inspector General of the Home Guard (GIHV), Major General Kristin Lund, says of the course: "This is a great way to complete a course. E-learning modules take down the cost and duration of the course, which hopefully means that more students will complete."

Mission to solve In the E-learning module, students will pose as squad leader in various positions in the National Guard and the Naval Home Guard. Through four different scenarios that occur during the solution of an assignment, the students will face challenges related to his own team in the areas of leadership and education.
